A nineteenth century mahogany longcase clock by A Melrose of Galashiels, the hood with swan neck pediment above an arched door flanked by columns enclosing an enamelled dial with roman chapters and two subsidiary dials, the trunk with bowfronted door framed by further columns, raised on a panelled base with shaped apron.
