A George II mahogany longcase clock by Edmund Cresswell of Manchester, the foliate engraved brass moon phase dial with silvered chapter ring and having roman and arabic numerals, with additional engraving of world cities - Bengall, Jeruselem, Rome, N York, etc., with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the hood with swan neck pediment above gilt scrolled glass panels flanked by turned columns, the trunk with shaped door flanked by fluted quarter pilasters, on a moulded base, with ogee bracket feet.
