A late 18th century longcase clock by John Collier of Cheadle, the moonphase arched dial painted with a central agricultural scene and spandrels of elegant lovers, the hood with eagle finial and swan-neck pediment over scrolling fretwork panels supported on cluster columns, above shell inlaid frieze and gothic triple arched crossbanded door, flanked by cluster column pilasters, on a moulded and fan inlaid rectangular base, raised on ogee bracket feet.
